We will take you back some 200 years, where elephants and buffalos were roaming the grasslands, drums were beating in the bushes and the city and fires were burning to keep lions away from livestock. The ancient archaeological site of Kurreechane, the old Hurutshe capital was inhabited by about 20,000 people at its time in the early 1800’s is located on our resort property and is one of the biggest stone-walled complexes South Africa and the ruins on Daskop Hill on our resort property constitute the best preserved part of this ancient city. It was home to King Diutlwileng and visited and well described by London Missionary John Campbell in 1820. This unique heritage also known as Kaditshwene represents one of the top attractions in the Northwest Province.

We offer a suitable range of activities or just relaxation in the tranquil African Bushveld setting, where 15 are nested along the aloe ridge. You are welcome to enjoy our traditional South African cuisine and cultural evening while taking a sundowner. During the Soccer World Cup 2010 hosted in nearby Rustenburg (120km) you can enjoy the games live in our Lapa Complex or join the fans in the Royal Bafokeng Stadium a mere hour and a half away from our resort.
