Mabulani's unique chalets were
designed not to disturb nature and to blend with
the environment. With the extensive use of wood,
thatch and rock unusual, natural and very
private chalets were created.
The accommodation at Mabulani are self-catering
chalets complete with kitchen, bedrooms and
bathrooms. Amongst other features of each
building is the patio and braai area from where
the visitor to the resort is able to enjoy the
surrounding bushveld and a view of the rugged,
unspoilt Waterberg. Mabulani is in a
malaria-free area.
The Bush Camp, Nyala House and Savanna House is
ideal for bigger groups while the Mountain House
in the kloof offers accommodation for smaller
groups or people who like enjoy mountainous
surroundings and remote places. Rhino Lodge has
five bedrooms and sleeps up to ten.
All accommodation is very private and have
wildlife roaming the area, with dangerous game
fenced in.
DSTV is available in Rhino Lodge and the Bush
Camp
as well as Savanna and Nyala
House, but please bring your own "Smart-Card".
Where are we?
Mabulani Game Reserve nestles in the lovely
Waterberg Mountains, 50 kilometres from Warmbaths (now named
Bela-Bela) and
150km from Pretoria. It is two and a half hours
drive from Johannesburg and just over an hour and a half from
Pretoria.
Mabulani is in a malaria-free area.
Take the N1 to/ from Pietersburg – follow the
signs to Warmbaths.
Take the Rooiberg/Thabazimbi Road (R516).
Proceed for 32km and turn right at the Mabula store. (Diepdrift).
Proceed on this gravel road for 8,5 km. Turn left at the
4-way-junction to
Rhenosterkloof and proceed for 9 km.
Turn left at the T-junction to Thabazimbi. Proceed for 2km .
Mabulani entrance on right hand side. Follow the sign boards to
your chalet (first 2 numbers of your reservation no)
