Approximately 9 km from St Francis Bay this
superb, very private, 22 hectare beachfront
home/property is situated in a private nature
reserve. Nestled against a fynbos covered dune,
a couple of steps from rock pools perfect for
swimming, this home will foster a sense of peace
and tranquility amid the hustle of world cup
fever. Ideal for a group of friends or family
the three separate fully functional units allow
for a measure of space and privacy.
Start your day with an early morning cup of tea
or coffee whilst perusing the sea for dolphins
and whales on the front deck. Alternatively
enjoy the sun-drenched back deck, the beauty of
the fynbos hillside air filled with the morning
bird songs.
The agenda for the day could include an outing
to St Francis to shop or bathe on one of the
many beaches, a stroll through the fynbos (with
a host of endemic species of plants, birds and
mammals) or along the coast, or simply lounge
around your own private rock pools.
Evening is a time for sundowners while watching
the sun set over the distant hills to the west
and scanning the bays for the resident otters,
and the arrival of Southern Right whales, which
abound between June and September each year.
If a cold front should arrive, a roaring fire
along with good food and a taste of our local
wines is the perfect precursor for a good nights
sleep to the lulling sound of the ocean. DSTV is
available in the main house.
